Chronicle of the Book Wars (or war - since it ended up lasting only a day)"I'll tell you now, a Book War is serious business and no laughing matter.
You live or die by your own strength and abilities.
Perserverance will stand you in good stead as you endure deadly B.O..
You must be prepared; you have to work with a strategy.
On the battlefield, the blood that runs through our veins is the same colour.
All are equal and it is your battle plan that determines the victor.
Heed not those who say plans never survive first contact with the enemy.
In a Book War, it's the ones without plans that don't survive!
Remember that the early bird gets the worm.
Be sharp of eye and quick of fist. The fastest will triumph!
Dodge attacking elbows and block the advances of knees with vigour.
Stand firm and defend your position among the stacks.
Do not be moved, neither by greed nor doubt. Show no mercy!
Take prisoners first and ask questions later.
Got all that, troops? Here are your targets. Now go get 'em!"
