lazy to write stuff lately....saw the class blog and found out what chu put on my blog link....
been reading mr miyagi's blog after the straits times article
feel obligated to put in some bombastic words so here goes:

esprit d'escalier \es-PREE des-cah-lee-É\, n.

french. (duh.) not directly translatable, but "esprit d'escalier" means roughly "wit of the staircase." big help, right? the french use "esprit d'escalier" to refer to the regret one feels after barely missing an opportunity to dish out a perfect comeback. quip-challenged people (e.g. me) know all about this phenomenon. ]
